Did you know that sleeping only an hour extra per day can have you lose up to 14 pounds a year. That is quite astonishing given the fact that you do not have to diet and neither do you have to exercise for this weight loss. It is what I call, free weight loss. For this weight loss solution, all you have to do is to sleep a hour more everyday.Researches have shown that when sleep replaces some idle thinking in which most people do the mindless snacking, you can effectively reduce up to 6 percent of your daily calorie intake. Obviously, this affect would be different for different bodies.
But on the opposite side, if you do not sleep the recommended 8 hours a day and keep that up long enough, you can actually increase your chances of gaining weight. It has been proved before that lack of sleep can increase your appetite which will make you hungry for no reason at all.
All the calories you would eat at this point would be utilized for increasing your weight. Get proper sleep and lose weight, that is the motto of this little post.

This is going to be an interesting series of posts. I am going to list some ways to get you started on losing weight and keeping it off. These ways will not require you to follow any type of diet or calorie restriction. All you have to do is to make small changes to your life.
First tip is, you need to time your meals. You need to eat slowly.
Set a timer for about 20 minutes and transform yourself into a slow eater. This is probably the best technique that you can use to lose weight without following any type of diet.
You need to chew each bite and savor the moment. Paced meals offer you great satisfaction from smaller portions. This is something that was not known before. Eating slowly also triggers your fullness hormones so you will naturally feel full with less food.
People who like to wolf down their food will find that they do not feel full afterwards and hence overeat. That happens because eating quickly blocks the production of those fullness hormones and that leads you to eating more calories than your body needs.

Tomatoes And Weight Loss?

First off. Tomato is a fruit and not a vegetable. A lot of people confuse this but it is a fruit. Anyway. This fruit contains lots of Vitamic C (which is pretty useful if you are having a flu) and citrimalicoxalic acids which give a vital boost to your metabolism.The best thing about eating tomatoes is that, they help the kidneys to get rid of large amounts of fats inside your body which makes you thin and a lot less heavy.
As with any wonder food tomatoes are low on calories (about 32 in an average sized tomato) and have high quantities of fiber. Thus tomatoes help you in your digestive system and help you to lose weight.
There are lots of ways to eat tomatoes apart from eating it raw. You can slice them up, use them in your salads and in your curries of all sorts.
I know it is hard to eat healthy all the time. But, when you are trying to lose some weight, then there is no choice but to eat healthy most of the time if not all the time.
